Welcome to the Thurston County Women's Republican Club Website
Who we are:
Thurston County Women’s Republican Club (TCWRC) is a branch of the National Federation of Republican Women, the largest women’s political organization in the United State of American. We are affiliated with the statewide Washington Federation of Republican Women.
Our club includes women from all stages and walks of life – single, married, businesswomen, homemakers, mothers, grandmothers - seeking to impact our community and political process in a positive way.
What We Do:
- We recruit, support, and help elect republican candidates who espouse Republican ideals of fiscal responsibility and limited government.
- Once a month, we hold an informative meeting, focusing on a current state or national issue, prospective legislations or the positions of candidates
- We strengthen the Republican Party by involving more women in the political process and educating them about current issues
What We Believe:
- In women as a powerful force for change in the twenty-first century
- In limited government that fosters personal responsibility and liberty
- In the value of grassroots political activism
- That our legacy will be developing
We have monthly lunch meetings at Denny's Restaurant (108 College ST SE, Lacey; Exit 108, just off I-5) with guest speakers. Past speakers have included elected officials, candidates, Republican Party officials, political consultants, and special guests who updated us on Community Service opportunities in our area. The no-host luncheons are held at 11:30 am on the second Tuesday of the month.
